It has to be prepared by the first of January so I thought I would speak on the giving of First fruits.. In addition to my study thusfar, you have added tremendously to my sermon. This analogy of the blue berries have given me a more clearer understanding of the importance of first fruits, why they are better & different from the rest & how they effect the fruits that are to follow.. Thank you for this reflection. I'm a ...Paige--
Thank you for this reflection. I'm a United Methodist pastor and was preaching on "first fruits" today as part of our Stewardship Campaign. I googled "first fruits" and this page eventually came up. My family loves blueberries -- we make a killer blueberry-peach pie -- so I was able to use your thoughts to prime the pump. Folks appreciated "Lessons from the Blueberry Patch." (The third lesson is that while each blueberry seems small and insignificant, many put together can fill a pail to overflowing.) So thanks for sharing.
Pastor Carol Cannon, West Columbia SCUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13070527309120001545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3746307894392185879.post-11630628958779976722009-07-12T21:34:26.511-05:002009-07-12T21:34:26.511-05:00Oh, Paige.
